Dwarka Somnath Tour

Dwarka Somnath Tour Package – A Spiritual Journey to the Land of Lord Krishna and Lord Shiva

The Dwarka Somnath Tour Package is one of the most divine and memorable journeys that a devotee can experience in India. Situated in the beautiful state of Gujarat, the twin pilgrimage destinations—Dwarka and Somnath—hold immense religious significance in Hindu mythology. From the sacred Dwarkadhish Temple dedicated to Lord Krishna to the Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple, this tour offers the perfect blend of spirituality, history, and cultural exploration.

Whether you are planning a Dwarka Somnath Tour Package for family, friends, or as a solo traveler, this journey promises spiritual fulfillment and peace of mind.

About Dwarka – The Kingdom of Lord Krishna

Dwarka, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites, is also known as the “Gateway to Moksha.” It is believed to be the ancient kingdom of Lord Krishna, who ruled here after leaving Mathura. The town lies along the picturesque banks of the Gomti River, where devotees come to seek the blessings of Lord Krishna.

The main attraction is the Dwarkadhish Temple, also known as the Jagat Mandir, which stands as an architectural marvel with its five-story spire rising to 78 meters. The temple’s sanctum houses the black idol of Lord Krishna, and thousands of devotees visit daily to witness the Mangala Aarti and Sandhya Aarti.

Other important places to visit in Dwarka Somnath Darshan include:

  • Rukmini Devi Temple – devoted to Lord Krishna’s consort.
  • Bet Dwarka – an island believed to be the original home of Lord Krishna.
  • Gomti Ghat – where pilgrims take a holy dip before visiting the temple.
  • Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple – one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.

About Somnath – The Eternal Shrine of Lord Shiva

Located near the Arabian Sea in the Saurashtra region, Somnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and is often referred to as “The Protector of the Moon God.” The Somnath Temple has an inspiring history—it was destroyed and rebuilt several times but still stands as a symbol of faith and resilience.

The temple’s magnificent architecture, spiritual atmosphere, and stunning coastal backdrop create a truly divine experience for every visitor. The Dwarka Somnath Tour Package offers travelers the opportunity to explore this ancient temple and witness the mesmerizing light and sound show that depicts its glorious history.

Nearby attractions include:

  • Bhalka Tirth – the place where Lord Krishna was accidentally struck by an arrow before his divine departure
  • Triveni Sangam – the confluence of three holy rivers: Hiran, Kapila, and Saraswati.
  • Somnath Beach – a serene spot to relax and enjoy the sunset after darshan.
