The Mallikarjuna Temple, situated on the banks of the Krishna River and atop the Nallamalai Hills, is not just one of the 12 Jyotirlingas but also one of the 18 Shakti Peethas, making it a rare confluence of Shiva and Shakti worship. Early morning pickup from Vijayawada then Drive to Srisailam (230 km, ~6–7 hrs). En route breakfast. Arrive by afternoon, check in to the hotel. Visit Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga Temple, Ropeway to Patalganga, evening aarti. Overnight stay in Srisailam.
Early visit to Srisailam Dam viewpoint. Optional boat ride to Akkamahadevi Caves (if available). After breakfast, I start my return journey. En route for lunch. Evening drop at Vijayawada.
