Closing:
Welcome and transfer to hotel. Evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri (Haridwar) or Triveni Ghat (Rishikesh).
Drive to Barkot, en route visit Mussoorie. Overnight stay in Barkot.
Early morning drive to Jankichatti. Trek to Yamunotri Temple and back. Overnight stay in Barkot.
Drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Vishwanath Temple. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Drive to Gangotri. Visit Gangotri Temple and Bhagirathi Shila. Return to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.
Drive to Guptkashi/Sitapur. Overnight stay.

The trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath is around 16 km. It can be challenging for senior citizens or those with health issue
The yatra starts in May and ends in November (exact dates depend on temple openings). Best months: May–June (cool weather), September–October (post monsoon, less crowded).
Woolen clothes, jackets, thermals, gloves & caps (especially for Kedarnath & Badrinath). Comfortable walking shoes. Raincoat/Umbrella during monsoon (July–August).
Consult a doctor before travel. Avoid trekking if not physically fit – use helicopter or palki/pony. Choose well-paced itineraries with rest days.
